Financial Statement Analysis for Business Decision-Making
Your statements already hold the answers. We read them properly and tell you what is improving, what is leaking cash and which two or three things are worth acting on first.
About Financial Statement Analysis services
A set of financial statements prepared for compliance tells you what happened. It rarely tells you why margin moved, where the cash went, or which part of the business is quietly funding the rest.
Financial statement analysis reads the same numbers differently. Profitability is decomposed to see which products, segments or costs moved the margin. The balance sheet is tested for how much capital is locked in receivables and inventory. Cash flow is traced separately from profit, because the two often diverge. Ratios and multi-year trends turn all of that into a picture of where the business is strong and where it is weakening.
This is interpretation, not assurance. An audit is an independent examination that results in an opinion on whether the statements are true and fair, for the benefit of external readers. Analysis assumes the statements are what they are and asks what management should do about them — and the two work well together, which is why clients often commission analysis alongside the statutory audit.
You receive a written report with commentary in plain language, a dashboard of the key measures, and a short list of the actions we would prioritise.
